I could understand why a military or otherwise defense-oriented bureaucracy would redact information in a FOIA response…there are cases where that makes good sense.

But the NIH? National Institute of Health? Hell no. This is a civilian services-oriented bureaucracy and has no legal standing to redact anything anymore than the FDA or FTC does.

This needs to be taken to fucking court.

The Intercept's owner is knee-deep in this crap. If The Intercept wanted anything UNredacted, believe me, it would be UNredacted. It's their way of looking like they're behind the people when they are NOT.

Edit: Hey down-votes are for spam and off-topic - this is neither. If you're going to down-vote, at least explain why. Based on your comment history, it makes no sense that you're an Omidyar-supporter.

hi

I agree they are compromised (we know b/c of Glenn Greenwald speaking out). But we also know the NIH is hiding the records about Wuhan. I believe this report is accurate. NIH has much to lose here.

Hi,

Maybe I should have made myself clearer. I agree with you that NIH is hiding records. Thing is, because the report IS redacted, we can't say whether or not the report is accurate because we don't know what's in it.

My point is that Omidyar is working with and supports every entity involved in the Covid charade, and I have every reason to believe that he could get his hands on any report (without redactions) that he wants. His people are EVERYWHERE.

As far as Greenwald, he was aware of Omidyar's involvement in many things looonnnggg before he left The Intercept, and he has remained silent on those topics. And, even after leaving The Intercept, he remained on the board of Omidyar's Freedom of the Press Foundation until a month or so ago. I believe the Hunter Biden situation was an excuse to rationalize a Greenwald pivot to the right, much like other former Omidyar players have done, like Braynard at Look Ahead America.

I'm going to edit my original comment to make it more understandable. Thanks.

yep, I agree.
