What doesn't make sense to me is that they sent a helicopter to investigate a reported "fight" in Newport Beach. Newport Police cars could get there faster -- and the helicopter was from Huntington Beach not Newport. Hmmm...... Remember this is Newport -- folks there's not much crime there.
Other infamous crashes in recent history:
- Kobe Bryant's helicopter departed from OC's John Wayne Airport (adjacent to Newport Beach where Kobe and his wife lived).
