Waaay back in his AFHV days and before cancel culture, I remember hearing other comics comment on the difference between his tv persona and his stand up material.

Basically they’d say how he worked really dark and blue, and they’d kinda just shrugg about his successful, squeaky-clean tv image.

I saw him years ago in H-wood. He talked dirty in his act -- but his TV image was squeeky clean. He wasn't a Pedo though.
