For the 100'th time: If you send your kids to public school, you are a shit parent. I can't / won't respect you. You are absolute shit. My kids not going thru the public school system for K-12 is a non-negotiable for me. I've always been willing to sacrifice almost everything else in my life to make this happen. I have some friends who were not in the public school system in a EU country. That country made it illegal to pursue alternative schooling solutions (home school, distance learning, etc.) At the cost of great personal sacrifice, they fled the country and moved to a country where it wasn't illegal to educate their children as they see fit. "But, it's my responsibility to go whine to the school board." No, stop trying to fix a system that is broken by design. It's tool late. Just walk away.
