There is no Team 6, Marcinko and a friend of mine Lt. Mike Thornton (MOH) formed them in 1980. But they were disbanded in 1987. They became the US Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU) and are under the direct command of Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). JSOC commands DEVGRU, 1st Army SFOD-D (Delta) and 24th Special Tactics Squadron (STS24). So when people say SEAL Team 6 they are incorrect.
