They want to scare people away from Nature.

They want you to live and work and associate with others in a digital landscape.

Yes. I have images of societies locked away in closed spaces (underground facilities?) who are bred unnaturally and have no concept of parents, family, siblings, birth and death, etc. They will know nothing about the natural world and only about the little that they're taught to believe.

Something like the movie The Island, only much worse.

They want everyone's brain connected to a main computer system so they can control every aspect of their lives, and have them live in a hive-mind setting. All sensory input will be through that system while they're attached to it. People will want to be part of the system because being detached will be like living death.

This is one of the most crucial aspects. Any sort of hive mind, or by way of example, cult (and i can speak from experience), is the dread of rejection and shunning. No matter how horrific or warped the lifestyle above or below ground then becomes, so to speak; to be severed from one's moorings is even worse (or so the programming goes). There always looms threat of penalties to be incurred by any independent self-willed thought/action.

In such images that you have of an underground diabolical system, that is not far fetched as we see this in some similar groups as i have spoken of. The "vital connection" is, surprisingly enough, also one of peer pressure. The "leader" does not have to apply the controls, one's peers do. Even now there is plenty of this going on, i would expect, with genetic experimentation, cloning, programming, as well is simply the all out assault on the family structure. The state wants children to be secretive, also the portraying of parents as out of touch, old-fashioned, and those are the nice words. The hive mind of the totalitarian state. Apply these aspects to the "political" hive mind being developed to ostracize and even eliminate anyone who does not follow suit. Those dangerous antivaxxers! (just an example)

The point of these various topics rather woven together, is that what you already envision to come is being already brought about in plain view. They just got to get the tech up to speed. I do not believe the talking about cults is farfetched. All of this is how to get folks to take on the yoke put upon them. Or, as we see with the vaxx, to happily submit blindly to that which bodes no good. Pliable, compliant, unquestioning, for the most part.

The vision i had years ago of an underground facility was not what you speak of. But just as diabolical. The sorting out and culling of various groups of people. Consigned to death...or worse.

What is offered to us is certainly a dark future. I pray that we, with God's help, can thwart what is being foisted upon us. Serious shit.
