I can't say this is what is going to happen, this is what I think is going to happen.

This is based on Microsoft acquiring Gears of War (trailer for the first game (youtube.com), then I think the studio was more independent but was tied to be XBOX exclusive) and then when Microsoft became more interfering with the studio's work they made Gears 5 (youtube.com)

Minecraft was originally made by Notch Marcus and it was basically an open world for building whatever you could imagine and modding the servers, and then MS bought it over and made Minecraft Dungeons (youtube.com) I think to give the game a story and direction. I never was much into Minecraft so I haven't really paid much attention to it or where its going.

And then there's Halo which Halo: Combat Evolved (youtube.com) was originally produced by Bungie Studios for the first few games, I think up to Halo 3, before being bought over by MS who started to micromanage bungie more and made ODST (youtube.com) before turning them into 343 studios who made Halo 4 (youtube.com) and 5 (youtube.com), I think. I think the Halo production might have had some hindsight and listened to the fans when they made Halo Infinite (youtube.com) as it's quite well regarded, although I think there was some objection in how Cortana has changed over the series, from a scantily form fitting digital appearance (hiepsibaotap.com) to a uniform (denofgeek.com). I think the studio has changed as well. The gameplay in ODST, 4, and 5 had a few rigid cut scenes whereas with CE, 2, 3 I think the "action breaks" were moments where you could wander around the war room while you "received your briefing"/advancement of story.

That being said I think the Halo fans are more similar to the Warhammer 40k fans, less agreeable than the Blizzard soy-cucks but not as autistic as the Warhammer fans. If the honest reviewers say Halo turned dog-shit they're not going to buy it, maybe the absolute die-hard fans will.

Also the games for windows live was crap and makes networking the earlier games for coop or multiplayer now near impossible and laggy as all hell.

Darn, you know a lot about gaming. - the only one I've heard of I've heard of is "Minecraft," and I've never played it.

The Warhammer 40k fan made stuff is pretty excellent as well!

The most highly regarded one is Astartes (youtube.com) which was one of the animators that was picked up by Warhammer+ but one of the contractual agreements was that the guy that made Astartes take it down.

Grey Knights (youtube.com) are one of my favourite factions but they are sort of a fanatical secretive society, and for good reason if you know how chaos works. Luetin09 (youtube.com) gives a more comprehensive summary of the lore.

The Faith (youtube.com) has some pretty shitty voice acting but the animation is quite good for one man and the textures and lighting I think are very well done. It's about the Black Templars who are very fanatical in for the Emperor, most space marines are fanatics but the Black Templars are exceptionally so.

Some are live action like Guardsman (youtube.com)

There is The Awakening (youtube.com)

This one is a bit more gruesome in my opinion, but still good. Death of Hope (youtube.com) gives you a bit of insight into one of the chaos space marine factions called The Word Bearers.

And then you can get some simpler and also comedic animations but have run for longer based on a good script based in lore. If the Emperor had Text-to-Speech Device (youtube.com) which the creator decided to stop making based on the irrational actions of Games Workshop with their IP.

And also Spirit of Sanguinala (youtube.com)

Do you know how to play all these? My word. I will watch some of these videos, but I'm replying now bc you were nice to put this together, and if the site goes down, I want you to know I appreciate it.

No - but I will def learn about this one - sounds interesting.

Yes that Faith animation is good.

Why is there such a dark theme in all of these? That Awakening has a ton of occult symbolism in it. What;s that nose hose thing?

What ages are these for? Death of Hope had an R rating, but do young children play these? It's like they're being conditioned to a very dark world.

This has certainly been an eye-opener.
