The Warhammer 40k fan made stuff is pretty excellent as well!

The most highly regarded one is which was one of the animators that was picked up by Warhammer+ but one of the contractual agreements was that the guy that made Astartes take it down.

are one of my favourite factions but they are sort of a fanatical secretive society, and for good reason if you know how chaos works. gives a more comprehensive summary of the lore.

has some pretty shitty voice acting but the animation is quite good for one man and the textures and lighting I think are very well done. It's about the Black Templars who are very fanatical in for the Emperor, most space marines are fanatics but the Black Templars are exceptionally so.

Some are live action like

There is

This one is a bit more gruesome in my opinion, but still good. gives you a bit of insight into one of the chaos space marine factions called The Word Bearers.

And then you can get some simpler and also comedic animations but have run for longer based on a good script based in lore. If the which the creator decided to stop making based on the irrational actions of Games Workshop with their IP.

Do you know how to play all these? My word. I will watch some of these videos, but I'm replying now bc you were nice to put this together, and if the site goes down, I want you to know I appreciate it.

No - but I will def learn about this one - sounds interesting.

Yes that Faith animation is good.

Why is there such a dark theme in all of these? That Awakening has a ton of occult symbolism in it. What;s that nose hose thing?

What ages are these for? Death of Hope had an R rating, but do young children play these? It's like they're being conditioned to a very dark world.

This has certainly been an eye-opener.

The games are generally strategy, the videos I posted are not associated with the games other than in art and lore.

A lot of factions have their own unique stylings, the symbolism of the Emperium of Man is very gothic, chaos is like the corruption of the H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu franchise.

There are other factions like the Orks, Eldar (space elves, they are featured in the Spirit of Sanguinala), Dark eldar (Evil elves), Tyranids (which are like an insect/locust force of nature), Tau (which are fucking alien communist weebs), Mechanicus (featured in The Awakening and the mechanical man), and the Necrons (breifly featured in The Awakening).

The tales are often grim like an Eastern European story. I don't think kids younger than 8 play them as 8 seems to be about the age when kids begin to take interest in it and then it'll probably just be the "cool space guys". The target audience is probably around men around 20s->30s as that is who it is made by. They're intentionally dark as I think they realize the world is a dark place with the number of corrupt perverts we have in control of our politics.

It's maybe not your cup of tea, but these are the autists that will defend their community and study war and ideologies at all levels from it's darkest sides. Probably the first group of people that came out unheard saying "This pandemic is a load of shit."
