He heavily implied it in the first and only video I ever watched of his. It was quite a while ago. He was driving around and talking like he was on his way to see Trump, only showing us his cowboy boots.

Yes, there is a recent (two or three months old) video of him addressing a group.
I never had a reason to doubt him. If he told me he spoke to Trump, I would believe him. He is very obviously a wealthy man who could easily donate enough money to a candidate to be brought into an inner circle. And we're talking about Trump, who is probably the most accessible president in our history.
You highly doubt someone could buy their way into Trump's inner circle.

Do really have to explain this to you? I don't mean his actual group of close advisors. I'm referring to the fact that you can gain access and speak to ANY politician if you donate enough money. I have photos of my father hanging out with Rudy Giuliani. Were they friends? No. My father wrote him a check at a fundraiser. If the check was big enough, my father would be able to get him on the phone. And they use terms like "inner circle" as a way to sell that to potential donors.
