5G is 2-3 years late in the West, it is implemented in Asia and many small countries around the world. It is most likely not emptying cities. Because using fewer towers saves money, communication providers like to use overpowered towers, causing over-exposure to the radiation. That's something we have to take care of, not the 5G communication protocol as such.
