Just had a baby born two days ago. The evil of snuffing out such a precious life is just unimaginable.

Yes - it is unimaginable.

Congratulations on your little one. I feel deeply for young parents today having to navigate such crazy waters with jabs and everything else going on. Being on this board, you have a much better understanding than many, and that is a blessing to your child. You will be "the bow that is stable."

I don't know if you're familiar the poet, Kahlil Gibran, but he wrote this about children and parenting, and I think there's a lot of wisdom in his words. https://the-prophet.com/#link21

Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself. They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts, For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you. For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.

You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far. Let your bending in the Archer’s hand be for gladness; For even as he loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.

May God continue to bless and protect you and your family.

God damn, why have I never heard of Gibran?

Singularly the greatest poet I've ever read.

Thank you RealPOdPatriot. Thank you.

Awww, I'm so glad you like Gibran, Cynical - He wrote many books but is most known for "The Prophet" https://the-prophet.com/#link21

Given your midnight narrative of yesterday, I can see why you'd appreciate his philosophy. I think you would especially relate to "On Freedom" and "On Crime and Punishment." But, OMW, there is such wisdom in his words.

If you have time, the whole book is worth a read - actually, many reads.. A person could live their life from that book.

FYI: you know the line "ask not what your country can do for you?" - That is Gibran. I couldn't remember the name of the book, and, in looking for it, came across this, which is even better - It has the text of the book, "New Frontier," with some explanation: https://www.hadassahshabnamlal.com/hadassahs-blog/kennedy-stole-gibran-quote-ask-not

And I thought the worst thing in New Jersey was Camden.

Well at least niggers and kikes can abort their hellspawn more often.

Agree - I literally shook with anger when I saw this.

There are hand rubbers just waiting to take those still warm body parts and make money off them
