Horus is the Son of Osiris (we'll put aside Horus the Elder and Younger distinction for now...), which makes the Osiris Isis Horus model reflective of the Holy Trinity we see permeating all religions necessarily. Horus is Child, he's the Son/Sun God. His Right Eye is the Morning Star, symbolic of the Sun. His Left Eye represents Luna the Moon, representing Healing. This guy doesn't even know the fucking basics. Horus is us as we pass threw life and grow in to Elder, Higher Self. Solar Worship isn't a bad thing.
