But if they put similar apparati in all of us, they would ostensibly be able to read our thoughts, and those thoughts could have real consequences.
Reading consciousness is not the same as reading willful action.
And, as I said, i certainly don't recommend these types of interfaces.
I agree re: "willful action," but when you look at how they're already predicting potential behavior through algorithms, thought-policing doesn't seem far-fetched.
