The war on Christianity has been full force all my life.

Yeah I look back at my youth and wonder what set me against religion for so long. It probably was nothing but the constant portrayal of Christians negatively in all forms of media. That really works. The kooky christian nut job, that hyperreligious character that ends up on the "bad guy" side.

The Christian who won't budge from dogma even though the movie has portrayed every fact to be counter that's so obvious to everyone else because we have knowledge of the general plot.

All straw men. If you don't see the the propaganda that means it's working.

I’ve reflected as well. My parents were a non-practicing catholic and a non-practicing anything. I was given the choice at 12 to attend further. I left. The tele-evangelicals soured me, early. You can’t change your family, I do wish I grew up with stricter parents. My parents were like the Mad Men cast. Party! Thankfully it’s never too late to get right with your faith.
