I don't usually like to jump into these anecdotal dog piles, but this particular one has actually entered my mind on more than just a few occasions as of lately; or last year or two.

Yes, I've noticed the increase in sirens screaming all over the place. Just thinking to myself, man there sure are a lot of amberlamps, cops, and fire trucks, running around these days...

It's a psychological ploy to increase fear of COVID and make people think it's worse than it is.
