Trump did a lot of good, nothing people say changes that. Sure pick him apart for this or that. He is not a perfect man, but he sure as hell handled the country better than anyone else I've seen in the last 30 years.
I tell people this all the time: I was wrong. I think that's really an overarching issue in our society, is that most people have too much pride to admit they were incorrect. I believed in masks and Covid at the beginning of the pandemic, then after the data showed they do fuck all and the virus is a joke, I changed my mind. I wish more people were like this.
I tell people this all the time: I was wrong.
Trump could benefit from learning that lesson too.
What? The point is that people like me who were originally vehemently against Trump were proven wrong. He did fine.
I don't necessarily disagree on premise. In this case tho, we desperately needed anyone who just refused to apologize to the hypocritical communists.
For my entire life, most of the lefts game has simply been to accuse and wait for an apology, which politically has become the same as admitting you're evil and the left is the arbiter of morals.
I disagree with Trump on some stuff and I'm pissed about the Jan 6 prisoners and vaccine stuff, and I often wonder if he's a zion puppet, but yeah still best president in my adult life by a lot.
Same here.
100%.
Funny how people's memory is so short.
