Am I correct in interpreting this as if ONE parent nominates a book for removal and the book isn't removed within 30 days, there will be a 10K fine? I don't support books with age-inappropriate sexual content in schools, but it seems that this could set a nasty precedent for other books that ONE parent wants removed from a school.

Opinions?

Clearly a case of the pendulum swinging too far the other way. We should be burning the offensive administrators in the parking lot, not the books. all seriousness aside, we've seen these laws to sideways too often.
