CNN Medical Analyst Leana Wen joined Victor Blackwell on Monday afternoon to offer advice for Americans as Omicron panic grips mainstream airwaves ahead of Christmas and New Year's gatherings. And one warning she gave viewers about masks is raising eyebrows.

"We should be keeping the events that are safe and also the events that have fun for people too," Wen — who previously served as president of Planned Parenthood before being ousted after less than one year with the organization — said of New Year's Eve celebrations. "We can't be canceling everything especially if we're going to be living with COVID for the foreseeable future," Wen said in an unintentional debunking of President Biden's quixotic campaign promise to "shut down the virus."

For those who choose to attend celebrations in Times Square or elsewhere, Wen said "I would make sure that you're vaccinated and boosted, make sure that you're wearing a mask even though it's outdoors."

Wen advised that, "If there are lots of people packed around you, wearing a three-ply surgical mask" would offer protection but told viewers "don't wear a cloth mask — cloth masks are little more than facial decorations — there's no place for them in light of Omicron," Wen explained.

Bullshit. Cloth masks are far more than decoration.

Would you walk into a grocery store, touch all of the groceries, carts, baskets. Pass your groceries to the cashier who's touched everyone else's groceries. And then when you're done, lick your hands transferring all of the viruses and gems from your hands to your mouth? - Of course not.

Instead people put on a mask, touch all of those things. Then they take off their mask, rubbing their hands all over the mask. Then with their mask covered in all of the viruses and germs that they touched, they put the mask back on their face.

Masks are the best way to ensure that every germ, every virus, that you touch ends up in your airway.

Make these nit wits explain their wild lies. What is a 'three ply surgical mask' and where does the average American buy them? It says on the box that the standard blue mask is NOT for medical use and does NOT prevent Covid. Another half lie from another bought off DR.

It's all a facade and Fauci knew it from the beginning. His first response to the mask bullshit was the correct one.

Your average Joe does not have the basic understanding to 1) procure appropriate facial coverings nor 2) do they have proper training on how to use, manage, and dispose of their facial covering.

Hell, even medical professionals have a hard time seeing as they're still a leading cause of spread of infectious diseases throughout medical facilities.

This has always been about blind compliance.
