If President Trump wasn't late then Pelosi would have bagged him. Since President Trump was still speaking, the people breaking in who followed the timelines (orders) of Pelosi and the ones ushered in by Capitol police ended up entering too early and President Trump couldn't be blamed or set up properly for inciting the crowd since he was still doing his speech far away.
