The whole trial is a joke, someone pointed a pistol at him point blank and he defended himself matching all the criteria of legal self defense. It couldn't be more of an open/shut case. The fact it made it this far says the legal system is beyond corrupt and cares more about qwelling to the angry mob and political optics rather than the 6th amendement.
I'm kind of surprised they aren't going down the mock trial route that they did with Chauvin and televise a guilty verdict while they secretly throw him into witness protection. But who actually knows what is going on in this clown world.
