"Last night, we made the decision to temporarily remove all knives and scissors from our shelves while we consider whether we should continue to sell them," said Kiri Hannifin, Countdown's general manager for safety.

"We want all of our team to feel safe when they come to work, especially considering the events of yesterday," she said in a media statement.

No kidding, its ridiculous to have to take our shoes off and walk on our socks on dirty floors just because of muslims. We never had problems with boarding planes until the muslims spoiled it for all the Western Christian nations. When I was a kid my parents just presented our boarding passes and we got on the plane. There were no metal detectors for passengers and they only checked carry-on sometimes.
