We (actually the powers that be that "lead") continue to march US towards the judgement of God.

Which we richly deserve.

Now we cannot expect the world system, which includes our government, to make other than secularly based decisions.

We are not a theocracy, of course, and more and more it appears that we are no longer a Nation under God. Our culture is post-Christian.

I also am not the one to judge. There are many variants of sin, some more visible, some less, but still sin nonetheless. Each of us has out own besetting sin to overcome. I, for one, followed false gods/paths, yet He had the grace and mercy to save me. His love, not hate, drew me to Him.

Only if believers re turn to Him, do we have a ghost of a chance at our Nation being healed.

For the Church, that is, the whole Body of Christ, is judged FIRST. Consider the behaviors of the American church now.

Therefore, i can only pray only the first part of 2 Chronicles 7:14:

“If My people, which are called by My Name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; ..."

Only then would He fulfill the other portion of this verse:

"...then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Note this portion of a letter written by one of the Founding Fathers:

From John Adams to Massachusetts Militia, 11 October 1798

"...While our Country remains untainted with the Principles and manners, which are now producing desolation in so many Parts of the World:

while she continues Sincere and incapable of insidious and impious Policy: We shall have the Strongest Reason to rejoice in the local
