The rabbit hole that I really try to resist going down is the talk of Niburu/PlanetX.
Yeah, best not go down that rabbit hole. We sent voyageur out in the 70's and it reached the outer part of our solar system. No sign of planet X or a second sun.
First is Noah’s flood. A pole shift and crustal shift would produce such an event.
Yeah, I went through these thoughts back in University. Sure it's possible but the bible says there was a flood. A flood could do the same thing. All those dinosaurs found in Wyoming look like they were all heading to higher ground. A flood would create a lot of mud and silt and that would preserve them better than anything. Freezing a big body like that would take a long time. Lot's of mass. Encasing them in mud would be instant.
Second is the idea that a massive object passing by could temporarily throw us out of Earth’s normal orbit, shifting us temporarily closer or further from the Sun.
Yup, it would but it would destroy the delicate balance of earth and probably make earth look like Mars....a frozen planet. How would it go back into it's perfect place in the orbit where life flourishes? Another big object? What are the odds of that?
Bottom line is I would need more faith to believe these so called scientists and there theories than I do to believe what God wrote down and preserved for us. Think about the bible fragments found at Qumran. Dated to at least 250BC and they closely match the current King James Bile. Can you imagine a 2250 year game of telephone? You wouldn't be close to having the same message that you started out with.
All good thoughts and I don't think you are crazy for sharing.
Thank you
