It is obvious election fraud has been happening in Oregon since they went in for 100% mail in ballots. If we learned anything from 2020 is that ballot stuffing is done most efficiently through mail in ballots. Time for a full forensic audit and in person paper ballot voting. No more early voting.

A few months back, several counties in far-left Oregon began an effort to secede from the state and become part of Idaho.

Now they have voted for it. It’s not a done deal yet, but they are off to a strong start.

These are simply people who are tired of being associated with the radical left-wing politics of Portland.

Voters in five rural Oregon counties approved measures on Tuesday to consider joining the state of Idaho, a part of a long-shot grassroots movement to break with a state dominated by liberal voters west of the Cascade Mountains.

Voters in Malheur, Sherman, Grant, Baker and Lake counties all approved measures that would require county officials to take steps to promote moving the Idaho border west to incorporate their populations…

They join two other rural counties — Jefferson and Union — whose voters approved measures promoting a move to Idaho last year.

The local measures are backed by Move Oregon’s Border for a Greater Idaho, a local organization that wants to grow Idaho west and south into some counties in Northern California.

“This election proves that rural Oregon wants out of Oregon. If Oregon really believes in liberal values such as self-determination, the Legislature won’t hold our counties captive against our will,” said Mike McCarter, a conservative activist who heads the group. “If we’re allowed to vote for which government officials we want, we should be allowed to vote for which government we want as well.”

Don't fall for the "it's the cities that make this state blue". It's the corruption in the elections in the cities that turn states blue. Look at all the corruption in the battleground states and ask yourself "is this going on in my state?" I guarantee you it is. Democrats get as many people registered (as democrats) as they can so they cn vote for these people on election day when most don't show up to vote. Now they can do it all electronically.

Partially true. I know that area well, and those towns are loaded with Lefitst nutjobs, mostly from CA. Most of the natives there are regular people, but they are getting to be a minority.

The California migration to Oregon has been going on for decades. It used to be patriots moving out of California till the nut jobs took over Portland and Oregon. Time to make a plan to take those cities back. Make them uncomfortable and they will leave like they did in the 60's to communes.

As says it's partially true, but cities also extract resources from the rest of the state and dole them out making city-dwellers more dependent on the state. Independent people don't tend to be liberal.

My guess with some work you can do it now. Remember, most people are sheep. You just need to convince them. We got rid of Eric Cantor by going door to door with a dozen people for a year before the primaries. No one thought it possible including me.

What is involved in actually doing this? Voters in a county can't just say "we don't belong to Oregon anymore, we're Idaho now". This obviously has to be approved at the state level, at both states. What is being done about that?

Agreed. It might make a nice headline but it isn't going anywhere. They need to take on the enemy in their strongholds. The cities.

I would think the next step would be for them to convince the Idaho State Legislature to approve. Next the secessionist counties would need to form new elected transitional governments. The fact that both state legislatures have to approve is a built -in mechanism to keep secession from happening in the first place. No state would ever willingly give up this much territory (and tax revenue) without an actual fight. The The State of Oregon government will have to be ignored by the secessionist.

I'm sure some legal case would make it to SCOTUS but that would be years away. A physical fight is likely to happen much sooner. I guess it all depends on how serious these people are about being part of Idaho.

Hard to say if this would go through. Oregon is making money on weed and it is still illegal here in Idaho. They would have to give up their cash crop to join.
