Patriot, I have the same suspicion. Look at the blade her daughter carried outside, would be a good idea to do a background check on the daughter. I suspect she has a history of violence.
I watched the slow motion body cam. When she knocked the first girl to the ground she didn’t have the knife. She turned to go after the girl in pink, it appears the man in the gray sweatsuit, on the right, handed her the knife.
Seems to me that cop has excellent presence of mind and saw exactly what was happening.

Hey Lakota, yes, I agree. For someone to use deadly force over a verbal argument didn't get that bold overnight. Her mother almost looked relieved. Be interesting to see what her background is.
