Still, the 6% figure is redundant because the rest wouldn’t have died if they hadn’t have had covid. This can be proven by the death rate in 2020 vs the average and range for the previous 5 years, as demonstrated here.

Covid at its peak in the UK, doubled the death rate of all recorded deaths in the country combined.
