I agree, it’s silly to trust a government.

But when every single government the world over (aside China lol) is reporting the same figures, it makes sense to trust what they’re saying. It also helps to believe it when my own family and a fair few of my close friends families has been devastated by the disease.

There’s no evidence to suggest they’re lying in this case, unless you feel like you want to lose yet another argument, can you show me any? Anything credible at all that would suggest you’re right?

There's no way to verify any of it and a spike in deaths for a few weeks is not really indicative of anything.
