I have had a Mossberg 500 with 3 barrels for 50 years and i would not trade it for anything.

Ahh. I was picturing some sort of monster and forgot about interchangeable barrels. LOL. I like the rifled barrel. Have you used it for slugs? I just had the one barrel on my Mossberg 500 M and gave up on regular slugs. I had a bit better accuracy with finned slugs and sabots. The plain slugs just dropped a hell of a lot so I kind of quit buying them. At almost a buck apiece it gets expensive.
