Ergo, there is great selective pressure for the virus to mutate into a variant that is less susceptible to the vaccine.This is essentially using every vaccinated individual to develop gain-of-function variations, like the gain-of-function research that other sources accused Wuhan lab of doing to make the virus attack people. 3. Vaccinations make the body produce specific antibodies specific. The mere presence of the specific antibodies greatly reduces the body's innate immunity which provides ability to deal with other variants / new things.
