Thank you for saying this. It IS steam.
Those that have been to DC during colder months have seen the homeless sleeping on or near the many steam vents.
Steam
Most cities in the northeast have this. If not all of them.
Is it something that's seen occuring regularly and somebody only noticed it now?
C'mon, you just destroyed 20% of the remaining hope that something is happening? How could you!
...that's steam you idiot. It's cold outside.
IT IS CLEARLY NOT STEAM! It is sulpher and brimestone from the pit of hell underneath DC!
What burns white? Paper? What is also a white cloud? Steam?
Steam dissipates quickly based on environmental factors.
Fire smoke particles will stay in the air for a long time. And the smell. Dude would be reporting a smell if there was something burning.
If it was something burning, it would be blackish if petrochemical related.
Grayish smoke is vegetation.
