Yes at the moment you are attempting to create drama the end of the conversation should in my opinion have been you applying and me not having to hear your endless emotional arguments about how wrong I am. That isn't professional and I expect professionalism when I appoint a mod. I do act as a user and have fun a lot, but in my capacity as admin I try to always remain professional.
Being a mod isn't about not taking shit. Its the opposite. Its about deciding objectively what shit to allow and what not to. Your behavior suggests you are not a person who can act rationally in the face of ideas they don't agree with.

I'm sorry you feel that way but like I have said, I pay the bills so the buck stops with me. Again I would ask that you give me the benefit of the doubt for the time being. I'm not above admitting my mistakes but I like to see evidence that I made one before I admit them.
