I don't freely go out shopping like I once did so I can't just go pick up the things you mentioned. I hate being confronted because it takes an emotional toll on me to have to argue with people and explain things to them that they could easily learn on their own if they had the least bit of curiosity or rational thought. I now only go to Stater Bro's since I've already had numerous confrontations with them and they've learned to just let me come in, get my food and get out. Like, confronting me over not wearing a mask, causing a loud debate and upsetting me for hours afterwards is somehow helpful. I'm usually a quiet reserved person until I hear someone making demands and getting in my face, outright lying to me when both of us are aware they are lying, disregarding easily available facts, etc. I went to work with a liberal cousin a couple years ago in her small beekeeping business. It's an old family business and dropping out of welding at the time I had an acute sense of nostalgia. We got on good at first but then the emotional abuse began, subtle at first. Just riding around with her I gradually became aware of subtle traits she had of starting a conversation, not liking my views and then interrupting to point out this or that Mosque, restaurant or something else totally unrelated in an attempt to shut me up. She knows my views so what's with the effort to constantly change them when she either didn't have the facts on her side, lied about "facts" I know from research aren't true or citing research papers that don't even exist. One argument she easily lost was telling me we should allow illegal aliens to just stream across our borders because they are native Americans. First off, during the treaty signed with the newly formed Mexican government when it was only twenty years the US government paid 25 million in gold for the land taken from the Mexican government. Land that just 20 years prior was Spanish colony. The US government agreed that all residents north of the new borders would instantly be able to register as American citizens with full rights or by their choice relocate to Mexico. They would be allowed to cross the border to visit family even if they moved to Mexico and kept Mexican citizenship but not allowed to work in USA. So no, the border didn't cross Mexican nationals. Those coming across the border today are literally invading to take advantage of lax enforcement of laws. She then tried to claim I'm not a native so as European I don't have a right to live in the country I was born in and maybe should go back to Europe. Uh, no, I have many ancestors of Native American stock so that's a failed argument. She then claimed I wasn't full blooded Native American so no, I have no rights to be here. I pointed out that such a stance makes her a racist since she's advocating for racial purity. Which country should she go back to, Sweden or Germany. In spite of having some Jewish genetics she's not pure blood so Israel is out and she's atheist and not Jewish so doubly out of that game. "Oh, there's a nice restaurant over there, good eats". On the topic of genetics we next clashed on inbreeding contributing to lowered IQs and genetic defects in certain populations. Cousin marriage in Islamic countries being the topic. She stated there have been numerous studies proving that wasn't so. Research papers, etc. Nope. That kind of riled me because I have read many studies and articles on the topic and it's a known fact that inbreeding causes grave problems in genetics and a significant lowering of IQ in every population this becomes common. I had to tell her off for deliberately lying to me. Not even cool. She has a Phd. in sociology and actually wrote a book she proudly showed me. Ugh. Horribly written using expensive words in an effort to seem scholarly. Total fail as after reading a few paragraphs at random found it to be pretentious and mere academic fluff. No real studies cited, just total conjecture and theory. When she returned a few minutes later I just said it's a nice book and set it aside. Based on reading Michelle Robinson's thesis it seems they might have studied together. Before I quit working for her matters escalated to her throwing screaming fits, creating problems like causing a traffic accident, getting stuck, refusing to get a tire repaired when I warned her it had a slow leak and having to limp back to the warehouse and pump it up with an undersized compressor using equipment meant for an automobile. Autos use around 30 to 45 PSI while a large diesel truck uses around 150 PSI so you using a small compressor it takes about an hour to get to full pressure. Very slow and then you have a load of angry bees crawling all over. Not fun. The nit picking, fault finding and looking for non existent problems rather than taking care of real issues I warned about was highly frustrating. I will never truly understand the liberal mind and their propensity to be irrational and dishonest. I surely will look into black cumin.
