It's not fine. It's not as bad as all that, but it's not fine. Had I not been able to and have the foresight to prep it could have been pretty shitty. My sister and nearby neighbors were without power and/or water(I fortunately was not) for three or more days with 8 degree Temps at night and never above thirty in the day. Shitty for most, likely deadly for others. Grocery stores are most certainly still empty, and gas is in low supply. Water is not necessarily contaminated, but could be, and has to be boiled. Dicknoggin up there is likely right that in a weeks time this will be a distant memory, but it was real f#@ked up for a lot of folks.
It has been contrived, created and criminally perpetrated against the people in the name of global warming. Texas can weather many a storm together, but can also create one when pushed too far. Only two cheeks to present before a fight.
