Yes, I wanted to say this, but I limited it. Yes, the burque in Islam is a sign of submission. In China, the Chinese "queue" was/is also a sign of submission to conquest. Isn't it ironic that so many people are not recognizing this? I will never wear a face mask. Having my regulator malfunction 35 feet underwater taught me breathing in my exhale was very dangerous. I am fortunate to be alive and never want to experience that again. The water pressure speeds up the effects.
