600% means 6 times increase. So if they found 4 child prostitutes in 2014 and 24 child prostitutes in 2020 it's 600% increase. Those increases are also based on what they found in 2014 not what was actually out there. Hell they could've found 4 in 2014 but there were 10 thousand, and they could've found 24 in 2020 but there were only 25, and it would still be a 600% increase. Thats why media can say whatever they want you can say almost anything in certain ways and make it sound more bad.
