These guys were in charge of America for a big part of the last 30 years, and they used the opportunity to line their own pockets and facilitate the rise of China at America's expense, allowing China to gain strength to where the Chinese now feel they can confront America militarily away from their own borders.

You can call that greed and corruption, or you can call that dereliction of duty, or outright treason. It all amounts to the same thing.

The Republican base, and most of America, voted for Trump in rejection of this vision. An answer to the many many years of failure the Never Trump crowd represents. If anyone needs to be purged from the party ranks, it is them.
