I'll save you a read. He didn't surrender. He lost and the Constitution did what is was supposed to do and ended Trump's presidency. If he wants to run again, great. But he lost and there is no way getting around that.

January 20th swearing in ceremony was the finish line. Joe crossed it; he won. The one mile mark was like his announcement that he was running back in 2019.
