rikki6, do you (or anyone else) happen to know if President Trump will be required to be in DC for any portion of the 'trial'? If so, and if the lunatic Dems are able to find some way to convict/arrest (I know NOTHING about this sort of legal process) could that be a reason for the NG...to keep his supporters out if/when it happens? Probably sounds ridiculous and crazy, but I can't help but think that the Dems are capable of ANYTHING.

He can testify but is not required to, and no wise counsel would advise the President to testify when counsel can make better arguments than he could personally.
