Well, the launch site is literally 2 feet from Mexico. If Elon is having problems with the FFA like that, he could probably make an easy deal to build a pad across the border.

I think he's buying the platforms because he has to evacuate an entire town each launch. That's probably a bigger pain in the ass than Jewish bureaucrats in the FAA.
