It didn't happen, so now we get this.

The schools remain broken as a result.

Trump did the banks a multi trillion dollar favor, and the banks turned on Trump anyways.

Tell me, what does everyone else get? All these retards with zero common sense get $10k of debt erased, what do I get? Do I get $10k?

How is it fair?

As with all "social safety nets" there is a lofty goal, and then there is the implementation.

The lofty goal is that people find themselves suffering through hard times occasionally. The safety net provides a boost to get through that.

The assumption in that goal, however, is that the person does not choose to live in that condition, but rather, just needs a little time and help to pass through it.

The implementation - as we know all too well - is that anyone that meets the criteria gets to live with that handout forever. That makes everyone else have to pay twice as much.

What do the people that have paid for their own education, or never gone to college, get in return?

We get doubly fucked. Not only do we not get any money like everyone else, we get to fucking pay for it - since the people that have this debt obviously don't have jobs that pay into taxes.

Fuck all debt forgiveness.

In the off-chance that I am wrong, and that the government will tell the banks to "delete" $10k from every student loan, that might be hilarious to watch.
