I was just being a smartass, but I absolutely agree. I remember back in the day when the Army began to incorporate [Gracie] Jiu-jitsu as its de facto 'combatives' training. I was fucking around with a Ranger friend out in the courtyard in front of our company. I came at him like a raging bull in a china shop and that wee fucker hopped on my back (rear-naked) like that scene with Cary Elwes and Andre in 'the princes bride.' It was hilarious but it taught me an important lesson about underestimating ones opponent.
Agreed. People who have never been in a real fight just dont understand. Experience is the best teacher and you never stop learning.
