Eh. There’s plenty to criticize. You take the bad with the good, but I’m not going to pretend he wasn’t embarrassing on a number of occasions. He also did a terrible job of communicating with the American people for most of his four years in office.

I got tired of his embarrassing gaffes over the years and the way Trump could never admit that he mispoke or said something he wasn’t supposed to, or said something that wasn’t right, he always had to lie and defend himself by lashing out like a toddler. I think that comes from that part of his personality that makes him so competitive, so you take it for all the important things he did.

I still think he handled the coronavirus panic very poorly and wasn’t tough enough on the people who wanted to lock down their states. There’s absolutely no way I’ll ever forgive him for allowing governors to do what they did. He has certain emergency powers for a reason, and when governors literally suspend the constitutional rights of their citizens the executive branch not only has the power but the responsibility to step in. It is not “constitutional“ or a “states rights“ issue to simply allow governors to suspend the rights of their citizens.

Hard to argue with these points. Only thing I can say he was in a rock and hard place. If he did something against the virus every death was his fault. He almost had to go along with it.

I read "Dr. Brix Shows Her..." and jumped right in...

Then I remembered who she was...

Then I was glad my first thought was wrong.

Yes I would rather she wear a birxsa.

Oof. That was bad. I’ll see myself out.
