Just my two cents. it has appeared to me, especially over the last decade, that people outside of government--strictly speaking--appear to have more power than many in government. I am thinking of Soros and all the DAs and congress people and movements he funded; and of Bill Gates and well, you get the drift.
Perhaps the Rubicon that Trump is crossing is one from Presidential power to political power. I don't know what he will do, or what he plans to do--but I suspect that he has a plan for fighting fire with fire--and there is a lot of firepower that billionaires can activate. Clearly Trump still poses a threat--both as a former President and as a potential front runner in 2024--but with the knowledge he now has, and with direct observation of the shadow government that Obama is and has been running, I suspect that Trump is in a unique position to wield a lot of pain. And this could have been the plan from the beginning.
