This was done last year in June a few weeks after the study was published. It was named #lancetgate.
I know because I was one of the medical researchers who debunked the paper and published the glaring errors on my twitter account which helped get it taken down (twitter.com/arkancideisreal)
The account has of course been terminated by twitter but the story is archived by Chris Martenson here: https://youtu.be/IUD_wvkNhnk
Is there another development in this story just now that I've missed?
I got duped. I checked the publish date of the article I posted (Jan 21 IIRC), the publish date of the article it referenced (Jan 18 IIRC), but I didn't dig down to the 3rd level, the rescission date on the report itself before posting! No, nothing new. And it did seem strangely familiar while reading the article, I figured it was just another faux HCQ trial they quickly produced that was finally being rescinded. Sorry for the confusion, I'll try harder ...
Don't worry. We are all getting duped. It's a constant misinformation battle!
