Can't rule it out. I'm not willing to accept that yet though. The force he was up against (assuming he was against it) is a mighty powerful force. They have seven ways to Sunday of making one comply. Who knows maybe he made a deal that saved a million lives so that we may live to fight another day. Just one more thing we will likely never know.

I see no reason to believe trump did anything in our interest. He could have solved this issue rather peacefully...forcing a full audit of the machines. But he did not...and because of that we have only 2 options. Fight on our way to the gulag, or just go to the gulag. In no world is that for our benefit.
