Perhaps there is some risk that CHYNA might be trying to smuggle soldiers/weapons/bioweapons/bombs into the US.

No one said military ships. We know they are cargo ships. But... we also no they were trying to ship weapons from China into our ports let alone how do we know they didn’t put more bat soup on those ships. They are on hold until we can search the vessels.
