What had to have happened in order for her to commit political suicide? I mean she could have shut up and voted to confirm the electors without making a spectacle of herself. But she chose to broadcast her vote and opinion in the most public way possible. There was a specific reason she chose to do it in this manner and I'm just wondering what it was because she must have known what it meant for her politically when she did it?
