All public government employees should have term limits of 10 years in the PARASITIC ECONOMY where they create no wealth and make no contributions to the GDP of the country, then go back to the commercial or private sector. Career Federal employees that never did any real measurable work in their lives to contribute to the nation is just shameful and parasitic to the real taxpayer. Federal bureaucrats never pay taxes they just RECYCLE our taxes that pay their salaries.

Incredible. And there are plenty of other names in the chat log too. None of these people have any control over their own lives so they have to impose their rules and ideals on others to force them to fit into their vision of how things should be.

Throughout history, every nation has had a similar problem. Unfortunately, some bureaucracy is a necessary evil. Also, every bureaucracy becomes bloated and corrupt. The longer you leave it entrenched, the worse the situation becomes.

That said, purging the employees from time to time is a proven method that helps to keep the corruption under control.

You hear they cannot be fired, but that is not entirely true. They can be downsized when funding is eliminated. Entire government programs, and the associated bureaucracies, can be downsized and phased out simply by ending, or re-tasking, the money, and the duties of the departments can be shuffled around to other departments, with a corresponding staff shake up.

Rules can be changed at any time. Nothing is written in stone. Unleash terror upon them from above. You need to weed out the dead wood.

Canadian Prime Minister Jean Cretien did exactly this when he came to power, cutting the funding of every government department by 25% or more right off the bat. He laid off thousands of employees and terrorized the rest. He saved the country a small fortune and actually returned the national accounts to profitability in a few short years. It was glorious. People said it couldn't be done. Unfortunately, following governments squandered the gains hard earned. Such is the nature of the beast.
