My first thoughts when I saw this was what has this company done differently (other than encryption) than Parler. Even if encrypted, when it gets popular and then loaded with trolls what is to stop Big Tech from blocking app downloads and server access? Of note, I never had interest in Parler because of they required photo ID and had those end-user liability statements in their TOS. It just sounded like a honey trap.

Well most of the groups and channels don't require a password to join, so I'm sure there are bots crawling all over them and archiving every message.

The Sidney Powell account just turned against Rudy this morning. Probably not a real account. Difficult to ascertain verification on Telegram

Something is going on. It is her account. Before Parler went down, she asked her follwers to follow her at the Telegram account. DJT asked his staff to stop making payments for his fees. He wants to review before payment. Something is up.

Interestingly, Pasha's father (Tulyakov) took his wife's surname (Durov) for an incomprehensible reason, they say that Paul has Jewish roots.

Many people have Jewish roots, but the Tulyakov surname is Ukrainian, so I don't know what relevance this statement has. He doesn't fit any of the Jewish phenotype's and actually looks Estonian except for his dark hair.

Ath first the phone number requirement was a no go for me too. But will be used only when creating an account. I'm not even sure if it is used at that time.
And later it can be used to add another device to the same account. But the default option for that is a message sent to the other device(s) linked to your account.
So you can use a burner phone number or the number of your grandma etc. to create the account if you have one time access to that phone.
