I agree. Why would you put the razor coil on the inside of the fence? Playing devil's advocate here, if I had to hop a fence with razor wire, I'd want to be climbing from the outside and jumping from the top over the razor coil to the ground. Climbing from the inside to the outside is very, very unlikely.

That is concertina wire and usually is placed directly on top of the fence with a Y shaped bracket.

Yeah it really bothered me. Concertina wire is something else man. I've had to fuck with that stuff before. It isn't fun. It is easy to go over if not applied correctly. The way they are applying it it can be easily gone through. Without the brackets it is child's play if you know how to handle it.

I was told years ago that fence security using razor wire, a bend in the fence tops, or otherwise were on the inside/bent towards the inside.....meant not to keep people out, but to trap those who breach the fence, inside. From the looks of that video, however, it appears the razor wire is on the outside, meant to prevent people out...unless, of course, the invader has a pair of wire cutters. That's why you do it on the inside. In any event....it would appear they are REALLY either over doing it....or preparing for war. Is someone paying big $$ to play 'show and tell' or what? Of course I'd love to believe it's an encampment to hold the swamp creatures IN until they can be transferred to GITMO.
